Kotak Bank opens more branches

Full-fledged retail banking branch comes up in Sector 9

CHANDIGARH: Kotak Mahindra Bank, which claims to offer complete financial solutions, opened its full-fledged retail-banking branch here on Saturday.

Two more branches were also opened simultaneously in Kapurthala and Phagwara in Punjab. Uday Kotak, Executive Vice-Chairmanand Managing Director, inaugurated the branch which is located in Sector 9 here.

Later talking to media persons, Mr. Kotak said that his bank planned to expand in this region by opening more branches in the near future.

"Punjab, Harayana and Himachal Pradesh are a focus market for us. We bring to our customers, 20-year expertise in providing customised solutions to help meet their financial goals and hope that these States will be key partners in our growth,'' he added.

The bank already has a branch in Ludhiana. Two more branches would be opened shortly at Panchkula and Mohali, he added.

The bank currently has 48 full fledged retail-banking branches across 30 locations.

He said that the customers can enjoy state-of-the-art facilities like Electronic Fund Transfer, Phone Banking and Net Banking besides advisory services to enhance customer wealth.
