Jaiprakash Narayan Yadav resigns

NEW DELHI: Minster of State for Water Resources Jaiprakash Narayan Yadav on Saturday resigned from the Union Council of Minister. Mr. Yadav sent in his resignation to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, RJD sources said here on Saturday.

The Minister who belongs to the Rashtriya Janata Dal was in trouble ever since a court in Bihar issued non-bailable warrants against him. A team of State police had raided his residence here on Friday but could not trace him.
