In an era of competitiveness, any individual needs self-confidence, positive thinking, self-development and self-reliance to face the challenges in life. Many matriculation and private schools conduct self-development camps for the benefit of their students. But who is to cater to the needs of students of corporation and government schools, who are deprived of an opportunity to attend similar camps. We are here say Chinmaya Yuva Kendra, a youth wing of Chinmaya Mission, and Sri Ramakrsihna Mutt. To inculcate values, skills and self-confidence among children, the Chinamaya Yuva Kendra will organise a one-day youth self-development camp, exclusively for students of corporation higher secondary schools in Madurai at Chinmaya Mission on Sunday. For registration and details, the heads of the school, parents and students can contact the Chinmaya Mission or Thilagar at 5352268 or 9443336708. For college boys, Sri Ramakrishna Mutt will conduct a one-day personality development camp on Saturday. For registration and details, interested students can contact Swami Yatatmananda, Sri Ramakrishna Mutt, Reserve Line, New Natham Road or at 2680224.
