NEW DELHI: Korea grabbed three of the four semifinal spots in the men's recurve section in the 14th Asian archery championship at the Nehru Stadium here on Tuesday. Chinese Taipei's Cheng-Wei Kuo was the lone challenger to the Korean supremacy. Olympic champion teammates Dong Hyun Im and Kyung Mo Park led the Korean charge. The Indian challenge in the recurve section, in both men and women's, ended in the quarterfinals. Nonetheless, Tarundeep Rai and Jayanta Talukdar fought well before losing to the Koreans. India salvaged some pride by dominating the compound bow section. In the men's section, Naresh Damor and Vivek Kumar made it to the semifinals alongside China's Shou Cai and Iran's Reza Zamaninejai. In the women's section, Jhanu Hansda, Manjudha Soy, Bansara Lin Dhar and Sakro Besra made it an all-Indian affair.
