New Delhi:
Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, undergoing treatment at the Army Hospital here, continued to be stable and responding well to treatment.
His general condition was stable and he was responding well to treatment, hospital sources said.
Renal failure
His chest ailment had eased and there was ``good improvement''. In view of the improved health, his day-to-day activities including interacting with visitors had returned to normal, they added. The 91-year-old former Army chief, diagnosed with renal failure and a lung ailment, was shifted to the Army Research and Referral Hospital from the military hospital in Wellington in Tamil Nadu on November 6.
Army doctors had performed a CT Scan on him on November 7 to carry out extensive investigation. UNI
