AFT gets ready for jubilee fete

It is celebration time at Alliance Francaise de Trivandrum, as the Indo- French cultural exchange forum gets ready for its silver jubilee. For a large number of its patrons, AFT is the place where they picked up the basics of the French language while others have been attracted by the cultural events hosted at the auditorium.

True to its heritage, the jubilee celebrations will be marked by a dash of Indian and French programmes. These include a Koodiyattam performance and a variety show by students. Also on the cards is an exhibition of images of India, photographed and developed by French photographer Olivier Follmi.

The Alliance is hoping that the French Ambassador to India would pay a visit to the cityduring the jubilee fete.
