Letters to the Editor
Harish Khare's article, `Politics of accusation, culture of suspicion,' (Nov. 10) brings to light the poverty of ethics in our polity and society. Global business has arrived in India but the outlook of the ruling class continues to be feudalistic. Also, we are dangerously close to accepting corruption as a way of life. This also stems from the fact that the common man, on most occasions, fears the process of law. Social values have to change drastically. As rightly pointed out by the author, "wheeler dealers" are in no scarcity. Making them jobless should be the first priority.
Vikram Ramakrishnan,
* * * Readers will be agree with Mr. Khare when he bemoans the "working political style of accusation and suspicion" of our political parties.
K. Vijayakumar,
