St. Mary's beats Rosary

NEW DELHI: Ankita Dabla scored 12 points as St. Mary's School, Dwaraka, beat Rosary School 18-7 in a girls match of the fifth Archbishop Alan De Lastic Memorial basketball tournament at the St. Michael's SSScourts, Pusa Road.

The results: Boys: Modern School, Barakhamba Road, 51 (Vikramjit 18, Aditya 10) beat Bal Bharati School, Pitampura 16.

Army Public School 53 (Abhijeet 17, Ankit 14) beat Meera Model School 33 (Abhishek 17).

St. Columba's School 44 (Dhruv 16, Joel 13) beat St. Mary's School 15.

Girls: Modern School, Barakhamba Road, 36 (Divya 16) beat St. Michael's School 12.

St. Mary's School, Dwaraka, 18 (Ankita Dabla 12) beat Rosary School 7.

Shanti Farm posts win

Shanti Farm defeated 61 Cavalry `A' 10-9 to enter the semifinals of the Havana Cavalry Cup polo tournament at the Jaipur polo ground here on Thursday. Tarquin Southwell scored seven goals while Lokendra Singh and Navin Khanna scored three and one respectively. For the loser, Martin Ravina (4), Atul Gupta (3) and Ravi Rathore (2) were the scorers.

In the other quarterfinal, 61 Cavalry `B' beat Indian Navy 10-5. The scorers for 61 Cavalry `B' were Santiago De Estrada (5), Tunku Ismail Ibrahim (4) and Tarun Sirohi while the losing team scored through Akhil Sirohi (2), Dhruvpal Godara (2) and A.P. Singh.

Brace by Mohit

Mohit scored both the goals as Modern School, Barakhamba Road, defeated Springdales School, Pusa Road, 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the 19th Jatin Bedi memorial inter-school football tournament at the St. Stephen's College ground here on Thursday.

Other results: Delhi United Christian School bt Delhi Public School 1-0, R.K. Puram; Government Boys SSS, Moti Bagh, bt British High Commission School, Chanakyapuri 2-1; Mann Public School bt St. Columba's School 2-0.
