Seven injured in train derailment

Sirsa: Seven persons were injured when the Jodhpur-Bhatinda passenger train derailed near Saktakhera village in Sirsa district of Haryana on Thursday.

However, there was no loss of life or property.

A police spokesman said the accident occurred around 5-00 a.m. when the railway track between Saktakhera and Abubshahar villages caved in, leading to derailment of seven bogies of the train going from Jodhpur to Bhatinda.

Seven of the passengers were reported to have received minor injuries. — UNI
