Fatal jump

TAMBARAM: A 25-year-old youth died on the spot when he jumped from the train on to the platform prematurely at the railway station here on Thursday morning.

Government Railway Police identified the victim as K. Ganesh Kumar of Anaiyur in Madurai district.

He jumped from the train before it halted at the platform, sustained head injuries and died.
