CHENNAI: It was an entertainment-filled evening for those at Hotel Le Royal Meridien last week.

The ambience, music, striking salsa dances, the lively Indian classical dance drama and rocking rock band aptly marked Le Royal Meridien's fifth anniversary celebration.

With celebrities from various walks of life attending the function in large numbers, it was double celebration for Chairman Palani G Periaswamy, who received the `A C Muthaiah award for the Best First' recently. To mark the occasion, Navaratna, a restaurant wholly dedicated to Royal Indian cuisine in the hotel, is organising Awadh, a food festival, bringing back memories of Lucknow with ghazals in the background. Pamper yourself with astonishing food, ghazal and royal hospitality. "Sham-e-Awadh" starts on November 11 - dinner only. For reservation and further details contact 044 2231 4343 ext. 53.
