Helping the mentally challenged

ATTENDING THIS carnival could bring happiness to many mentally challenged persons.

The Medico Pastoral Association's Halfway Home is conducting its annual carnival on its premises on Pottery Road on November 12 from 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.

The proceeds of the carnival will help its activities and also bring the people helped by it closer to the community.

You can have fun too with games, a lucky dip, food stalls and lot of entertainment.

The chief guest at this year's carnival will be Geraldine Hoekstra, wife of Bob Hoekstra, CEO of Philips Software.
