Idea Cellular and MAA TV launch talent hunt

HYDERABAD: Idea Andhra Idol is on. The Andhra Pradesh circle of Idea Cellular on Wednesday launched what it touts as the biggest talent hunt in the State in association with MAA TV.

Buy a prepaid with a minimum recharge of Rs. 220, type `ANDHRA' and SMS to 4560333. If SMSing is a problem, simply dial the number, say `ANDHRA' and you are in. The hunt provides a platform for participation in singing, dancing and acting and entries are open for males and females. It is also open to existing Idea subscribers.

Registrations

Registration requires details like name, gender, district and category through voice or SMS from their mobiles. Normal calling and SMS rates apart, a one-time registration of Rs. 50 will be charged. Registrations are open between November 10 and 30 and once it is over, participants will be informed about screening round schedules via SMS by Subbaraman Iyer, Idea Cellular Circle Head for the State.
