Novel meet for commerce students

HYDERABAD: The common perception of the industry is that an M.Com degree fosters only accountants. But recent curriculum revision has changed that.

Additional inputs from marketing, finance and human resources, along with industry projects have equipped students to assume larger roles like analysts and financial consultants in a variety of sectors.

This is exactly what Pragati 2005, a two-day meet organised by commerce students of Pragati Maha Vidyalaya on November 12 and 13 hopes to showcase.

Motley events to test student's communication, presentation and leadership skills apart from subject knowledge have been designed.
