Discussion on Rushdie's book

Bangalore: The Oxford Bookstore will have a panel discussion on Salman Rushdie's new book, "Shalimar The Clown" on Friday evening.

The novel has been critically acclaimed for its broad reach moving from California to France, England and Kashmir.

Raj Ayyar, formerly of the University of Central Florida and Etienne Rassendran, connected with English Studies at St. Joseph's College will be the panelists.

The event starts at 6 p.m.
