Woman held with cocaine
Acting on a tip-off, the Narcotics Branch team had laid a trap near a canal at Trinagar in North-West Delhi on November 8 around 7-30 p.m. When the suspect appeared on the scene, the police team tried to stop her. However, she began fleeing. But a woman constable managed to catch her after a short chase. The police recovered 300 gm of heroin from the possession of the suspect, later identified as Reena. According to the police, Reena's father, an autorickshaw driver, had become a drug addict. Two of her aunts were also into drug trafficking. They pushed her into illegal trade so that she could earn money and look after her family, which included a mentally challenged brother. A case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Prevention) Act has been registered and further investigations in the case are on.
Bus driver killed
According to the police, Dinesh, a resident of Hamidpur, had parked the bus outside his employer's house at Mukhmailpur village late last night. He was returning home on foot when a vehicle knocked him down. The incident came to light this morning. A case has been registered at Alipur police station and further investigations in the case are on.
Two injured in fire
According to a fire department spokesperson, the call about the fire was received around 6-15 p.m. At least 10 fire tenders were pressed into service. By 8-30 p.m., the fire had been controlled and efforts were on to douse it completely. The injured persons, apparently workers of the factory, were rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital where they have been put under observation. Further investigations are on.

A case of murder has been registered at Hauz Khas police station, but no arrests have been made so far.
Health camp
According to the organisers, a team of eminent specialists will conduct the camp.
