Photo expo on life on the street

Thiruvananthapuram: French photographer Colette Mazabrard has chosen a unique theme for a 10-day photo exhibition in the city, beginning on Saturday.

Her collection of 64 black and white photographs features people taking afternoon naps on the streets and the public gardens in Delhi.

Titled `Vertical sleepers, a dislocation', the exhibition focuses on pictures of sleepers taken in a repetitive manner to highlight the sleeper and life on the street. The exhibition is being organised by the Alliance Francaise de Trivandrum and the Embassy of France. Colette Mazabrard is a French national settled in Delhi. The exhibition will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the AFT auditorium up to November 22.
