CHENNAI: It was `Anbuchelvan' with sweat trickling down his face. Amidst anxious organisers and security personnel, a visibly shaken Surya scrawled his name in bold black on cassette covers held out by screaming fans at the Music World outlet in Spencer Plaza on Friday.

"I am a little nervous. I don't know what they are expecting now," said the actor after a few minutes into the frenzied autograph signing on the jackets of audio CDs and cassettes of his forthcoming release `Aaru.'

This after telling the milling crowd in the beginning that he would like to give everyone a hug and a kiss.

"Hey! I had to tell something to express my happiness," said Surya, who was quick to respond to numerous calls of `Surya saar,' `Anbuchelvan' and `Sanjay Ramaswamy.'

The crowd inside the showroom, which had to down the shutter after a while, was happy enough to buy more CDs and cassettes to get the actor's signature and brought out cameras and cellphones.

A flustered-looking director Hari said `Aaru' would be different for Surya.

"He plays a strong action hero," and promised that `Aaru' would be another `Samy'.
