Post boxes to get facelift in Nellore

Nellore: The Department of Posts here has decided to give facelift to post boxes. To start with, all the boxes will be painted and locks provided as there have been complaints about safety aspect. According to Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Nellore, Y. Upendar, the new system will go a long way in delivering the message of the century long reliability of the department. Also by extending location of post boxes, more areas of the town will be served.

Posting of newspapers and periodicals at RMS has been discontinued and now, it will be facilitated at HPO, Nellore. The department is taking other steps to improve the services, Mr. Upender said.
