KARIMNAGAR: APSRTC chairman Gone Prakash Rao has launched a scathing attack against former Minister and TDLP deputy leader T. Devender Goud for making false and baseless allegations against Chief Minister Y. S. Rajashekhara Reddy. Talking to newsmen here on Saturday, he said that Mr. Goud had no right to talk against the Chief Minister. Refuting the charges made against the Chief Minister that he had launched "dhanayagnam" (making money) in the name of "jalayagnam," he alleged that Mr. Devender Goud had made property to the tune of crores of rupees after joining politics.
Allegations
He also alleged that he was having palatial farm houses in over 600 acres of lands in Ranga Reddy district. He said that he had already written a personal letter to Mr. Goud about his illegal activities and he would make that letter public only after consulting his senior party leaders. He said that he was ready for an open debate and prove his allegations against Mr. Goud. Urging the TDP leader to mend his ways and maintain some political decency before making allegations against the Chief Minister, he also said that he would take a delegation of media, human rights activists, retired judges and others to Ranga Reddy district and expose the misdeeds of Mr Goud.
