BSF swamps Sikkim, enters last four

Hyderabnad: BSF defeated Sikkim 4-0 in the quarterfinal of the 54th B.N. Mullik Trophy All India police football championship at the RRC ground here on Saturday. BSF led 3-0 at the break.

The goals came from Gurjit Singh who scored in the very first minute and thereafter by Santosh (15th and 22nd) and in the second half from Kamal Kishore (90th).

The results: (quarterfinals): Nagaland 4 (Bendanga, Toshi, Vizakie and Renthungo) bt Mizoram 1 (Nghakliana); Assam Rifles 4 (Akum Ao, Thoiba Sngh, Akit Singh and Naoba Singh) bt Assam 2 (Subir Goswami, Kunjoy Goyari); Punjab 3 (Sumit Bali, Parminder Singh and Hardeep Singh) bt Maharashtra 0.
