Orissa school posts win

NEW DELHI: Town High School, Orissa beat Govt High School, Jalandhar 2-1 in the semifinal of the ONGC-Nehru sub-junior hockey tournament at the Shivaji Stadium here on Sunday.

Rajan Ekka and Xavier Ekka scored for the winner while Inderpreet Singh scored for the loser.

In the other semifinal, Sat Guru Partap Singh Academy, Ludhiana beat Springdales School, Amritsar 3-1. Malak Singh (2) and Gurmail Singh scored for the winning team while Navjot Singh reduced the margin for the loser.
