Two killed in separate accidents

Thiruvananthapuram: K.J. Unnithan (57), an administrative officer of Attukal Temple Trust, was killed when the scooter in which he was travelling was hit by a lorry near the Vettimuricha Kotta at Attakulangara late night on Sunday.

Unnithan was a resident of Pipinmoodu.

He is survived by his wife Indira and three children. The body has been kept in the mortuary of Medical College Hospital.

In another accident, Ajithkumar (23), a resident of Kalluvathukkal, Kollam, was killed when the bike he was riding collided with a fast passenger bus at Kalluvathukkal Para junction on Sunday evening.

Found hanging

The body of a youth, approximately 26 years old, found hanging in a deserted compound near Paruthikuzhy highway road in the Ponthura police station limits on Saturday, has been kept at the Medical College hospital mortuary. The body is yet to be identified. The Poonthura police have registered a case.
