This Day That Age
The honorary secretaries of the Music Academy, Madras, write to say that Mr. Chintaman Deshmukh, Union Finance Minister, will inaugurate the 29th annual conference and concerts of the Academy on December 22. Sir S. Varadachari will preside over the Sadas (convocation) on January 1, 1956, and confer the title of Sangita Kalanidhi on the conference president, Vidwan Marungapuri Gopalakrishna Aiyar.
