BANGALORE: Striking once in either half Sri Gajannana inflicted a 2-0 defeat on Mohammedan Sporting to register its second win in five matches in the B Division football league for the Bangalore Blues Cup at the football stadium here today. Venu (4th min.) and Annappa Kumar (64th min.) struck for the winners. Gajannana logged seven points from five outings. For Sporting this was its third defeat in five matches and have just two points to show in the nine-team league. Earlier, BHEL (EPD) thrashed Reserve Bank 5-2 with Shoban (2), Pradeep, Dakshinamurthy and Vinod Kumar (Jr) being the goal getters. Kevin and Thanu Nanjappa scored for RBI. BHEL (EPD) has 10 points from five matches with three wins and a draw.
