Delhi traders upset
NEW DELHI:
Traders in the Capital on Tuesday sought withdrawal of a tax department advertisement exhorting businessmen not to evade paying tax, saying it is biased against a particular caste.
`Gupta Uncle'
The advertisement, in which a child asks his father why he along with `Gupta Uncle' is evading service tax, was derogatory and highly objectionable, Confederation of All India Traders Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal said in a statement here.

CAIT has written to Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram urging him to withdraw the advertisement.
The Government should ensure that in future no community was singled out in this manner, it added. -UNI
