Bird flu

This refers to the news report, `Bird flu: pharma companies want Government to act,' (Nov. 16). The Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance's fears about the lack of preparation on the part of the Government in case the avian flu strikes are real. The Government should prepare a contingency plan to make medicines available to tackle the dreaded virus.
