Dry weather in Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at a few places over Lakshadweep. Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka.

The minimum temperature fell appreciably at one or two places over north coastal Tamil Nadu, fell at a few places over Rayalaseema, at one or two places over rest north Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, rose at one or two places over north interior Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were markedly below normal at one or two places over interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, appreciably below normal at a few places over Andhra Pradesh, at one or two places over coastal Karnataka, rest north interior Karnataka, north coastal Tamil Nadu, below normal at a few places over rest Tamil Nadu, rest south interior Karnataka, rest coastal Andhra Pradesh and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Hyderabad Airport, Medak and Belgaum Airport recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 12{+o}C in the plains of the region.

Forecast (Valid until Friday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over south Tamil Nadu, south Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over north Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, north Kerala and Karnataka.

Farmers weather bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry: Forecast (valid until Friday morning): Isolated light to moderate rain is likely to occur over south Tamil Nadu. Mainly sunny weather will prevail over rest Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
