Cochin Shipyard pays dividend to Govt.

NEW DELHI: Cochin Shipyard Ltd (CSL) on Wednesday paid a dividend of Rs. 8.34 crore to the Union Government for 2004-05. The company made a net profit of Rs. 12.10 crore compared to last year's profit of Rs. 17.78 crore, an official statement said adding that it has declared a dividend of 7 per cent on preference share capital amounting to Rs. 8.34 crore during last two successive years.
