Sharp rise in Thermax's net profit

CHENNAI: Thermax has posted a net profit of Rs. 25.31 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 as compared to Rs. 10.83 crore in the year-ago period. Total income has risen to Rs. 311.43 crore from Rs. 222.33 crore. In the half year ended September 30, 2005 the net profit was Rs. 38.59 crore against Rs. 16.43 crore in the same period in the previous year. Total income has risen to Rs. 540.93 crore from Rs. 350.99 crore.
