A thrilling draw
BANGALORE:
BUFC and Mohammedan Sporting were involved in a thrilling 3-3 draw in the `B' division football league for the Bangalore Blues Cup at the football stadium here on Thursday.
For BUFC, Harish netted a brace in the 54th and 73rd minutes. Ramesh equalised in the 79th after Newman (49th and 67th) and Majid had struck for the Sporting outfit.
While BUFC has four points (one win, one draw) from five matches, Sporting has just three points (three draw) in its six encounters.
Earlier Sri Gajanana scored a 4-0 win over Reserve Bank;it has three wins and a draw to tally 10 points. Harish (3) and Arun Kumar scored.
ASC and DYSS are on the top of the nine-team league with Sri Gajanana and BHEL (EPD) with 10 points each trailing in the third slot.
