Randhir in lead

SHILLONG: Randhir Singh Ghotra from Chandigarh had a one stroke lead at the end of the second day of the Airtel PGA Shillong Open on Thursday. With a three-under 67 for the day, he stood at four-under 136 over two days in the fifth event of the Amby Valley PGAI Tour at the Custodian Officers' Golf Club.

Leading scores (after 36 holes): 136 - Randhir Singh Ghotra (69, 67); 137 - Ranjit Singh (70, 67); 138 - Amritinder Singh (71, 67); 139 - Vikrant Chopra (72, 67); 140 - Jaiveer Virk (72, 68), S.P. Chowrasia (69, 71), Indrajit Bhalotia (68, 72); 141 - C. Muniyappa 73, 68), Sanjay Kumar (70, 71).

Amateurs: 147 - P.S. Rathore (75, 72); 152 - Sgt RVC Nair (76,76); 155 - Prakash Pathaw (76, 79).
