Goa follows on

Panaji: Tamil Nadu forced Goa to follow-on after taking a 174-run first innings lead on the second day of their South Zone under-15 Polly Umrigar Trophy match here on Thursday.

Resuming at 197 for six, Tamil Nadu was all out for 239 and bundled out Goa for 65. The team was 34 for one in its second essay.

The scores:

Tamil Nadu 239 (K.M. Dheeraj 48, R. Pinto five for 87, Yeshwant Raikar four for 51) vs Goa 65 and 34 for one.

Hyderabad 201 vs Andhra Pradesh 224 for five (M.U.B. Shriram batting 80).

Kerala 187 vs Karnataka 221 for nine. — UNI
