To be handed over to CBI

HYDERABAD: Julakanti Srinivas Reddy alias Moddu Sreenu will be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is investigating TDP MLA Paritala Ravindra's murder, after the due court procedure is followed.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Mahender Reddy said it had become necessary for the local police to hand over Srinivas Reddy, prime accused in Paritala's case, to the CBI only after following the process of law since the charge-sheet in the murder was already filed by the investigating agency.

Meanwhile, Sreenu was shifted from Gandhi Hospital to a private hospital for scanning.
