KOZHIKODE: A major player in gold jewellery business for decades, Malabar Gold has entered the housing sector through its sister concern Malabar Builders. M.P. Ahammed, Chairman, Malabar Group of Companies, announced recently the launch of two inaugural housing projects of Malabar Builders in the heart of the city - Golden Oak Apartments near Pushpa Theatre Junction at Chalappuram and the Tamarind Nest Apartments near the swimming pool in Cherootty Nagar. Mr. Ahammed and company directors K.P. Veerankutty, C. Mayinkutty, A.K. Nishad, K. Ibrahim, Naseer and Naseer Hussain said all the projects that the group intended to promote would be eco-friendly and designed to suit the budget of different income groups. Malabar Builders had already constructed a few commercial buildings in and outside the State.
