NEW DELHI: Two young men, who allegedly assaulted two women and a man from Nagaland at Nanakpura in South-West Delhi on Saturday night, were arrested on Sunday. According to the complaint, one of the young women had gone to have dinner at her aunt's place at Satya Niketan on Saturday. Around 11 p.m., her cousins went to drop her near her house when one of the culprits standing nearby suddenly attacked her. When her cousins tried to intervene, the culprits abused them and also thrashed the man, who is a Government servant in Nagaland. He allegedly sustained injuries in the head and other parts of the body. On Sunday, the victims went to the police post and lodged a formal complaint, following which the two accused, identified as Indu Bhushan and Prashant, was arrested late in the evening.
