LUCKNOW: Both Houses of the Uttar Pradesh legislature were adjourned for the day on Monday after taking up obituary references. The Vidhan Parishad took up obiturary references for former President K R Narayanan, former Union minister Madhu Dandvate and the victims of the massive earthquake which hit Jammu and Kashmir, PoK and parts of Pakistan on October 8. The House also condoled the death of three of its former members, Habib-ur-Rehman Nomani, Indra Mohini and Premvati Tewari, before it was adjourned for the day. The Assembly paid glowing tributes to departed sitting member of the House Ilam Singh. PTI
