HYDERABAD: The stewards of HRC suspended the "A" trainers licence granted to: (a) trainer L. D'Silva under the HRC rules of racing with effect from November 22, 2005 upto and including December 21, 2005, both days inclusive, for the presence of Ketorolac, which is a prohibited substance, in the urine sample drawn from his charges Combe Bassett (Suraj Narredu) placed fifth in the Moulana Azad Plate run on Aug. 29, 2005 and Gun Rock (Deep Shanker), the winner in the Tanashah Plate (Div. II) run on Sept. 4, 2005. The stewards further resolved to fine trainer L. D'Silva a sum of Rs. 35,000 and disqualified the above two horses in the respective races mentioned above and ordered revised placings. (b) Trainer K. Satheesh under the HRC rules of racing with effect from Nov. 22, 2005 upto and including Dec. 6, 2005, both days inclusive for the presence of Ketorolac in the urine sample drawn from his charge Keep In Touch (A. Imran Khan), the winner in the Gory "B" Plate (Div. I) run on Aug. 29. The stewards also fined trainer K. Satheesh a sum of Rs. 15,000 and disqualified Keep In Touch from the above race and ordered revised placings. In the Golconda Plate (Cat. II), jockey A. Imran Khan (First Mover) was fined Rs. 1000 for shifting in whilst negotiating the final bend onto Good Speed (J.H. Christopher) who in turn went into Cannon Run (K. Suresh), the latter receiving interference. In the Swarna Mukhi Plate (Cat. II), jockey K. Ganesh (Win Amante) was fined Rs. 1000 for failing to persevere with his mount in the initial stages of the race. Jockey A. Imran Khan (Buddy Brother) was fined Rs. 1000 for shifting out soon after the start causing interference to Mirbat Battle (Deep Shanker) and Win Amante (K. Ganesh). In the C. Satyanarayana Memorial Cup (Cat. II), jockey D. Singh (Chivas Gold) was fined Rs. 3000 for shifting in soon after the start causing interference to Lenavi (J.H. Christopher) and thereafter travelling a few strides, shifted in again at about 1000 metres causing interference to Royal Award (Harish). Jockey J.H. Christopher (Lenavi) was fined Rs. 500 for shifting in entering the final straight and causing interference to Rudraksha (Chary). Sk. Farookh, rider of Light Cannon, in the Tensing Narke Plate (Div. I) on Nov. 20 was fined Rs.1,000 for failing to persevere with his mount in the last 200m. Jockey B. V. Krishnan (Mr. Bureaucrat) in the Time and Place Plate (Div. I) was fined Rs.3,000 for shifting out after entering the straight and in the process bumping and unbalancing Priyam (Ch.K.Chary) racing on his outside. In the Original Vel V. Bala Subramani Memorial Cup 1400m, the Stewards suspended jockeys R.Laxmikanth (Peace Talks) and K.Anil (Kilroy Classic) from riding in races with effect from Nov. 30 to Dec. 4 (both days inclusive), for careless riding in that they allowed their mounts to shift in and out after travelling about 50m in the process crowding the runners drawn in between them, resulting in severe interference to Sweet Suzzanne (S.Sreekant), who stumbled and dislodged jockey S.Sreekant. G. Sandeep, rider of Bulbasaur, in the Nagarjuna Sagar Plate (Div. II) run on Nov. 2 was suspended from riding in races with effect from Nov. 30 to Dec. 5 (both days inclusive), for injudicious riding.
