NEW DELHI:
The Joint Action Front for Women has decided to intensify its campaign to gain support for the passage of the Women's Reservation Bill in the winter session of Parliament. It will hold dialogues with parliamentarians and their representatives in the respective constituencies.
"We will mobilise women's group across the country to mount pressure on the Government for the enactment of the Bill in this session," said Ranjana Kumari, coordinator of the Front. The Joint Action Front for Women is a group of 70 organisations working on women's issues.
