Periyar varsity to launch website to access model question papers

Reports of seminars, conferences to be posted

SALEM: Students of Periyar University hereafter need not search archives of their college libraries to form an idea about the question paper pattern. Just a mouse click will give them access to the model question papers of all the courses.

The varsity's website www.periyaruniversity.ac.in will shortly offer a model question paper databank. The university is also planning to make the syllabi of all the courses available on the website, which now offers general information such as course details, information Periyar Institute of Distance Education and examination results.

According to the Vice-Chancellor, T. Balakrishnan, "We are preparing model question papers for all the subjects and they will be available on the web shortly. We have also revised the syllabi of all the under graduate courses recently and are updating the syllabi of the postgraduate courses. Once it is over, the syllabi will be posted on the web in a downloadable format."

Further, the varsity will post reports of the all its seminars, conferences and workshops on the website. "It will help students in the affiliated colleges to enhance their knowledge," he said. The varsity will update the website every week.
