Ragas on keyboard

BANGALORE: This musical prodigy began composing background music for films at the age of eight and over the past few years been a playback singer for Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films. K. Satyanarayanan played on the keyboard some classical ragas at the Sangeethotsava of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. He began learning the keyboard with Mandolin U. Srinivas, violin from Kalaimamani A. Kanyakumari, western classical music under Alphonse and Carnatic vocal under his mother and playback singer, Lalitha, and his grandfather, Embar S. Sadagopan. He has presented more than 200 concerts in India and overseas and his two albums, "Carnatic on Keyboard" has been appreciated by critics.
