NIC aims at Rs. 4,000 cr. premium income

KOLKATA: National Insurance Company (NIC) is targeting a premium business income of Rs. 4,000 crore in 2005-06 as compared to Rs. 3,810.70 crore in the previous year. It is now restructuring the composition of its underwriting portfolio, adjusting National Insurance's exposure to different risk groups, so as to strengthen the bottomline, says a release.
