Letters to the Editor
Nitish Kumar, who is set to become the next Chief Minister, should focus on development, public security, and employment. Thousands of people migrate from Bihar each year in search of employment. This should be checked.
Jayant Kumar,
The tasks ahead of Mr. Kumar are formidable. He inherits a State that has become a symbol for corruption, illiteracy, and poverty. It will require a huge effort to set right the wrongs committed by the RJD regime.
N. Sivaraman,
The NDA and in particular the JD(U) should be grateful to Governor Buta Singh for recommending President's rule in Bihar. It must be acknowledged that it is entirely due to the imposition of the President's Rule, and consequent fresh election, that the JDU and its allies have emerged victorious on their own.
S.K. Choudhury,
G. Ramachandran,
