A vote against "jungle raj:" Venkaiah

CHENNAI:
Enthused by the poll verdict in Bihar, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday renewed its demand for the removal of Governor Buta Singh.
Addressing presspersons here, a jubilant vice-president M. Venkaiah Naidu, said the Governor had "no qualms about carrying out what Rashtriya Janata Dal president Lalu Prasad says."
After the Supreme Court held the dissolution of the Bihar Assembly unconstitutional, the United Progressive Alliance Government did not remove the Governor, but it "wanted to misuse the official machinery", he said. Describing the defeat of the RJD-led front as a vote against the "jungle raj," Mr. Naidu said the poll outcome was a positive vote for development.
