BANGALORE: The qualifiers were spotted for the main draw of the AITA Talent Series (under-12) tennis championship, which is being conducted at the Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex, Hanumantha Nagar here. At the end of the two-day qualifying rounds on Tuesday, the following made it to the main draw: Goverdhan Abhishek , Nikhil Reddy, A.V. Achal, S. Sagar, Anirudh, Harsha Manjunath (all from Karnataka), Anand Geroge (Kerala) and T.S. Jude Raymod ( AP).The championship which is being sponsored by Murudeshwar Ceramics and Nivarana, has attracted 44 entries in the boys' section and 25 in the girls' section. Vinod Gowda of Karnataka and Sanshitha Nandakumar of Tamil Nadu are the top seeds in the boys' and girls ` groups respectively. Mahesh Bhupathi will inaugurate championship on Wednesday. — Special Correspondent
