Anajali in lead

NEW DELHI: Anjali Chopra fired a par round to take a two-stroke lead over 14-year-old Vaishvi Sinha after the opening round of the 38th Ladies Northern India golf championship at the Delhi Golf Club course here on Tuesday.

Anjali shot three birdies and as many bogeys to stay ahead.

Anjali Chopra 72; Vaishvi Sinha 74; Pragya Misra, Irina Brar 77; Divya Kapoor, Parnita Garewal 79; Shruti Khanna, Vandana Aggarwal 80; Bhavna Shetty 81; Shalini Malik 82.
