THRISSUR: The body of a DYFI activist, Thirunellur Mathilakath Shani, 20, was found in the Mullassery canal in the district on Monday evening. The body was identified by Shani's relatives on Tuesday morning, the police said. Shani was missing from Sunday afternoon. The police said Shani was wanted in many cases. Local CPI(M) leaders said they suspected foul play in the death of Shani.
