New LPG connections from Dec. 1

New Delhi: The Government has decided to resume new LPG connections with effect from December 1.

Chairing a meeting of the Parliamentary Consultative Committee attached to his Ministry here on Tuesday, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar said oil companies had stopped giving new connections following the recent crisis in the availability of LPG because of the sudden shutdown of the Reliance refinery in Gujarat. — PTI
