Science congress

The School of Biosciences of Dr. GRD College of Science and the Tamilnadu Science Forum will conduct a district-level National Children's Science Congress - 05 on November 24 on college premises. Projects on "harnessing of water for a better future" will be presented by students of Class VI to XII.

Grievances day

The Superintending Engineer of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, Coimbatore North, will conduct a grievances day meeting on November 23 at the office of the Executive Engineer, Avinashi, at 11 a.m.

Business meet

Management students of the Bharathiar University will hold their third annual business meet in Chennai on November 24. The meet, Axis '05, will expose the 110 students to various facets of business management, says a University press release.

Speakers, drawn from leading institutions, will focus on banking and insurance, It and It-enabled services, retailing, logistics and supply chain management. These sessions will be followed by a panel discussion on `Global India: Paradigm and Perspectives'.

This is aimed at creating an opportunity for the students to internalise planning, decision-making and networking abilities, crucial to a successful manager.
