National workshop on teaching of English begins tomorrow

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Department of English, Mahatma Gandhi College, is organising a two-day national workshop on the topic, `Exploring the use of information technologies in the teaching of English - challenges and opportunities,' beginning November 24.

The workshop, to be held at the College, will be inaugurated by Vice Chancellor of the University of Kerala M. K. Ramachandran Nair.

The keynote address on the topic `English Language and Literature in the Cyber Age' will be delivered by director of the Centre for Bioinformatics Achuthsankar S. Nair.
